Sooji ka halwa

Sooji ka halwa is a quick,easy and delicious halwa which is mostly made in breakfast with pooriyaan. Sooji ka halwa is an amazing delighted dessert when served with garnished almonds and coconut. When you add dry fruits while preparing halwa it becomes more tasty and delicious. Sooji ka halwa made quickly and easily in a few minutes with few ingredients.Sooji has a unique and lovely texture. Ingredients:

4 tbs Ghee
4 Green Cardamom (Hari Elaichi)
1 cup Semolina (Sooji)
4-5 tbs sugar or to taste
4 tbs Gram flour (Besan)
3 cups Water

Method:

1: In wok/pan, heat the ghee,add cardamom cook for a minute.
2: Add semolina (sooji) and roast on medium low flame until colors change and fragnant, you will see the change in color of the sooji from creamy color to golden color.and add gram flour (besan),roast very well.
3: Add sugar and give a good mix.
4: Add dry fruits like crushed almonds,pistachio,coconut and raisins(kishmish).
5: Add water and stir well,cook on medium low flame for 3-4 minutes.
6: Cover and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
7: Garnish with dry fruits.
8: Sooji ka halwa is ready.
