Chicken Fried Rice

Chicken Fried Rice is one of the best weeknight dinner around! This dish is full of healthy fiber, protein, good fat and also loaded with vitamins and minerals. It is very delicious and tasty. The whole family will love this protein packed,egg, chicken and rice combo! You can cook restaurant style Chicken fried rice at home easily....

Cooking Time : 20-25 minutes.

Serve: 5-6 people

Ingredients:

Chicken 250 grams.
3 Eggs (whisked).
2 tbs Cooking Oil.
1 tbs Garlic (Lehsan) Chopped.
2 tbs Cooking oil. 
1 Cup Carrot (gajar) Julienne.
1 Cup Cabbage (Bund Ghobi)
1/2 kg Rice (soaked and boiled with salt)
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tbs Salt or to taste.
1 tbs Chicken Powder.
1 tbs Black pepper Powdered (Kali mirche) 
1 tbs White pepper powdered (safed mirche)
1 tbs Vinegar (sirka)
1 tbs Soya Sauce 

Method:

 1: Cut chicken fillet into thin strips & set aside.
2: In wok,add cooking oil and eggs(whisked),mix well and cook until crumbled & set aside.
3: In the same wok,add cooking oil,garlic and fry until light golden. 4:Add chicken and mix well until it changes color and cook for 2-3 minutes.
5:Add carrot and cabbage and mix for a minute .Add sugar and salt and mix well
6:Add boiled rice and give it a good mix.
7: Add chicken powder and mix well.
8: Add black pepper powder,white pepper powder
9: Add vinegar,soy sauce and mix well.
10: Now add eggs and mix well.
11: Now Yummy Chicken Fried Rice is ready.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl.

Let's begin with another breakfast recipe.This is how you eat dessert for breakfast. The thing is,we love smoothies and here we talk about healthy strawberry banana smoothies. It is so yummy and delicious. It tastes like you are waking up next to the beach.

Ingredients:

A bowl full of strawberries.
3 banana
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp sugar.

Method:

1: Take a bowl full of strawberries and bananas.
2: Put them in a blender and add milk and yogurt then blend it.
3: Consistency should be thick like smoothie.
4: Strawberries banana smoothie is ready.
5: Decorate your bowl with sliced strawberries and bananas.
6: Strain smoothie in bowl.Put crushed almonds for sprinkling.

Sooji ki Barfi


Here is something sweet for you to make it and impress your family . Make sooji ki barfi with this quick and easiest recipe and enjoy . This is great to serve anytime.

Ingredients

For Sugar Syrup:

1 cup water 
1 and 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp Elaichi (cardamom) powdered

Method

1:Take 1 cup water in a pan .
2:Add sugar and elaichi (cardamom) powdered and bring it to boil.
3:Let it cook until syrup is thickened for 10 to 12 minutes.

Ingredients

For Souji ki barfi:
2-3 tbs Ghee
1/4 tsp Elaichi powdered
1 and 1/2 cup souji.
Badaam chopped as required
Pista chopped as required
1/2 cup khopra powdered
1/2 cup powder milk

Method

1:Take a pot ,put ghee , elaichi powdered then add souji and mix it well.
2:Roast for 3-4 minutes until aromatic.
3:Add Badaam (chopped),pista (chopped),khopra powdered and mix it well.
4:Add milk powder. Roast for 3-4 minutes.
5: Put prepared sugar syrup in it and mix it gently.
6:Cook until it leaves the sides of pot.
7: Turn off the stove.
8:Take tray and grease with ghee . Put hot mixture on it and spread the mixture on tray then put chopped badaam ,khopra powdered and pista chopped for sprinkling.
9: Give shape by using knife.
10: Let it sit for an hour.
11: NOw Tasty souji ki barfi is ready.

Chana Chat Or Chohle Chat

Chana Chat is very healthy and delicious snack.It is low fat,rich in vitamins and minerals,healthy addition to your diet.Chana chat is very common and popular street food dish in Pakistan.It is so spicy and delicious in taste. 
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Soaking Time: 6 hours.

Ingredients:

1: 1/2 Kg Chana (White chickpeas).
2: 2 Boiled Potatoes.
3: 2  Onions (Medium size).
4: 3-4 Green chili.
5: 2-3 Tomato.
6: 1 tbsp Red Chili powder.
7: 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp.
8: 1/2 tbsp chaat masala plus more for garnish.
9: 2 tbsp lemon juice.
10: Salt as Taste

Method

1: Soak Chana (chickpeas) for 6 hours in water and add 1 tbsp sweet soda in it.Make sure to use a large bowl as the chickpeas will double in size.
2: Then drain water.
3: Then put in water again and put salt and keep on stove on medium flame for 30 minutes.
4: Then take boiled chana in a very large bowl.
5: Take boiled potatoes and cut into small cubes and add in it.
6: Take onions and tomatoes and cut it into small cubes and add in it and mix it very well.
7: Add green chili (chopped) ,add chat masala ,red chili powder ,tamarind pulp,lemon juice and salt in it .
8: Mix it all up and let it sit for at least 5 minutes to let the flavour develop.That's it

Taste: spicy and sour.


  Tips:"One of my favorite combinations to serve chana chat with Dahi Baray .I start with chana chat as the base layer then add dahi baray and then top it of with papri . That's the perfect Desi Chana Chat"

Spaghetti Noodles Cutlet

Noodles cutlet is so yummy and delicious. As the name shows these cutlet have been made with cooked noodles, boiled potatoes and boiled eggs. These are all ingredients that kids like the most. It is not spicy so the children enjoy these cutlets. It is an ideal party snack, loved by both kids and adult which can also be served in snack box and also in lunch box. You can serve the cutlets with tomato ketchup,it also enhances the taste of it.

Preparation time: 10 minutes.
Cooking Time:  20 to 25 minutes.
Total time: 30 to 35 minutes.
Makes 10 cutlets. 

Ingredients:

For Noodles Cutlets:
1: 4 Boiled Potatoes.
2: 3 Boiled Eggs.
3: Full fist spaghetti then boiled in salt water.
4: 1 tsp chinese salt .
5: 1 tbsp Black pepper (crushed).
6: 3 Green chilli.
7: Salt is required.
8: 2 Cups Bread Crumbs.
9: 1 Beaten Egg.

Method:

1: Take boiled potatoes,roughly mashed it in a deep bowl.
2: Add boiled spaghetti,mix well
3: Then take boiled and roughly mashed eggs and add in it and mix it very well.
4: Add black pepper ,salt ,chinese salt and green chilli in it.
5: Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
6: Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each portion very well.
7: Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg then role in the bread crumbs till it is evenly coated from all the sides.
8: Heat the oil on tawa/pan and fry on medium flame,till the cutlets turn into golden brown in colour from all the sides. Delicious Noodles Cutlets are ready to serve.
9: Serve the Spaghetti Noodles Cutlets with Tomato Ketchup.

EGG MAYO SANDWICH

A simple healthy egg mayonnaise sandwich for breakfast or evening snacks under 20 to 25 minutes .This sandwich is so delicious,healthy and is devoid of sauces,chutney or cheese.This sandwich recipe is made without a grill,toaster or oven.It is just made on a Pan/Tawa in the simplest way.I have not used any sauce or green chutney.So it is good even to make on a busy weekday morning for breakfast as it needs only 5 to 6 ingredients to made this tasty sandwich.You can enjoy these toasted egg mayo sandwich as a part of a family picnic,and children will also enjoy these sandwiches when you give in their lunch box.

COOKING TIME: 15 to 20 minutes.

PREPARATION TIME: 5 to 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

2 boil Eggs.
3 tbsp Mayonnaise.
1 tsp Black Pepper. (Crushed)
1/2 tsp Sugar.
Salt as required.

Method:


  1. Take boil eggs in a bowl and roughly mash it.
  2. Add Mayonnaise in it and mix it very well.
  3. Add black pepper, sugar salt and mix it very well.
  4. Take bread slice and toasted on pan/tawa till you get golden brown colour on both sides.
  5. Apply thick layer of mixture on it. Spread the mixture on a slice of bread.
  6. Cover with another toasted bread slice
  7. Tasty Egg Mayo Sandwich is ready.

CREAMY COFFEE

A good cup of coffee in the morning can set the mood for your whole day.Surely you would have felt the dread of waking up at a Monday morning after a great weekend and at that point ,getting off the bed seems like a burden. But there is something that is admired for this job worldwide,Yes we are talking about a strong,Aromatic and fresh cup of Creamy coffee.
Cooking time: 25 to 30 minutes
Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

 1 tbsp Coffee powder
 2 tbsp Sugar
 2 cups Mlik
 1-1/2 tsp water

Method:

1:Boil milk in a pot.
2:In a bowl add coffee powder,sugar,water and mix it well for 15 to 20 minutes until the coffee colour changes from Dark Brown to Golden yellow.
3:Now coffee mixture is Ready .
4:Now use in the boiled milk and mix it well.
5:Turn off the stove and strain the coffee in cups.

Tips and Variations:

If you like more creamy coffee, add 2 tbsp Thick Cream in it and mix it well.When you prepared the mixture for coffee .If you have hand blender ,when you mix coffee mixture in boiled milk and then blend the mixture with blender for 1-2 minutes . Now your full creamy coffee is ready.

TEA (Elaichi Chai)


It is one of the most popular hot beverages in World especially in Pakistan. A cup of milk tea (Chai) in Morning gives you refreshing feel and put you on track of long hard day .
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2-3 people

INGREDIENTS:

Cardamom
2 cups water
½ cumilk 
1-1/2 tbs Tea powder
2 tbs Sugar

Method:

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Add cardamom and let it steep for 1-2 minutes,uncovered.
  3. Add Tea powder and Sugar in it and boil it for 3-4 minutes on low flame,covered or until the colour deepens .The Tea should smell fragrant when you lift the teapot lid.
  4. Add milk in it and let it steep for 3-4 minutes or until the bubbles start to rise.You will see the change in colour of the tea from milky shade to brown colour when it is ready .
  5. Turn off the Gas and strain tea in cups. 

Tips and Variations:

If  you like more creamy tea, then avoid water and use only Milk . Mix milk, cardamom ,sugar and tea powder and boiled them over medium flame for 6-7 minutes. If you don't like it to creamy then use more water compared with milk.

Taste:

Sweet and Hot.


Serving Ideas:

Serve it in the Morning or Evening with Biscuits and Plain cake.
